'Somethings'

5 important lessons to learn from the humble pencil

1st, It tells you that everything you do always leaves a mark.
2nd, you can correct the mistakes you make.
3rd, what is important is what is inside you, and not outside you.
4th, In life, you'll undergo painful sharpenings which will make you better in what you do.
Lastly, to be the best you can be, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.

"When I was a little girl, I asked my mother why we write God with a capital G. She replied saying its because what He does is a product of what He thinks, He does what he wishes to do and has the freedom to do so. Later, when I grew up I realised that I write 'I' with a capital I."
- The ending of a speech given by a friend

Everything is mysterious-Even the shade of the tree moving with the sunis so mysterious, so poetic. An ordinary flower is so mysteriousbecause the whole life is expressed through it.A breeze blowing in the tree and creating rhythmic sounds, echoes in the valley, reflections in the water...Remember this, your happines will be in the same proportion of your mystery...less mystery, less happiness, more mystery, more happiness.
- Osho

Doesn't that say something?

btw, Happy republic day! Atleast they had the decency to give us a holiday....bloody college.

If the world were my oyster,
then plain old filth can be turned into pearls...

tsb said...

Profound seems to be too big a word.
A simple "deep stuff" would suffice.

Ram said...

Mr./Ms. Anonymous ... if the world were your oyster, you'd be having awfully big pearls to live off anyway ...

Ram said...

I was changing a few settings on my blog divs ... so might have clashed with when you posted. Think you've made your post though ... the HP one right?

Ram said...

tsb ... dint quite get your point da ... you're saying one word was too short a comment? true ... was on a time constraint in Sify iWay! Dont ask! One long painful story ...

tsb said...

sify had decent service...
that was what i was using in summer most of the time.
and i think anon has a point...i wouldnt mind living of pearls...
but thats applicable only if i ahd all the pearls.

Ram said...

See I get the philosophy behind Anon's statement ... but im using logic instead ...
Sify IS good ... but thats not the long story i was talking about ... its too long to explain anywayex

Div said...

deep stuff! rite...
anon does have a point...but i guess too much time wud be wasted in converting dirt to pearls?cuz u'd get greedy and want all filth to be pearl...
vinay - when i posted, the comment din get posted...anyway, yeah it was the hp stuff.
